Terms of use
Last updated:
These are the rules for using Link a date. By creating a date, answering one or writing in a chat, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
What the site is
Link a date lets one person plan a date and send a private link, and lets the person who receives it answer and chat. It is a tool for arranging a meeting. It is not a matchmaking service, and it does not introduce people to each other.
Who may use it
Only people aged 18 or older. You confirm this with a checkbox. If you are under 18, do not use the site.
How it works without accounts
There are no accounts. Whoever holds a private link can open the date as that person sees it. Keep your links private. We cannot recover a lost link, and we cannot tell who is holding one.
What you must not do
- Harass, threaten, pressure or abuse anyone.
- Pretend to be another person.
- Send sexual content to someone who has not asked for it.
- Ask for money, run scams, or advertise anything.
- Share another person's private details without their permission.
- Use the site for anything illegal, or to arrange anything illegal.
- Try to break, overload or get around the site, including its limits.
Anyone who is invited can end a date at any time with "Block and delete", and the creator can delete a date at any time.
Rooms
A room is run by its admin, who holds the admin link. The admin may remove posts and pause or delete the room, and is responsible for how they run it. Nicknames in a room are not checked, and anyone who has the room link can read the board and post. We may delete a room or a post that seems to break these rules. Everything else in these terms applies to rooms, posts and requests as well.
What you write
You are responsible for what you write in a date or a chat. Do not write anything you are not allowed to share. The site keeps it only to show it to the people on that date, and deletes it as described on the privacy page.
Meeting people is your own decision
We do not check who anyone is, and we cannot promise that people are who they say they are or that they will behave well. You decide whether to meet someone and you meet at your own risk. Meet in a public place the first time, tell someone you trust where you are going, and leave if you feel uncomfortable.
The site is provided as it is
The site is free and is provided as it is, with no promise that it will always work, be available or be free of mistakes. Dates and chats can be lost, for example if something fails, or when they are deleted automatically. We are not responsible for what happens at a meeting, for what other people say or do, or for losses that come from using the site, to the extent the law allows.
Taking things down and stopping access
We may delete a date or a chat, or limit access, if it seems to break these rules or to harm someone.
Changes
We may change these terms, and the changed version applies from the time it is published on this page.
Contact and reports
To report a person, a date or a chat, write to omrilife@gmail.com. If you want us to look at a particular date, include the link you were sent. Please do not send anything else personal.
